Formerly Hartford Orthopedics and Hand Surgery, Greater Hartford Orthopedic Group, P.C. (GHOG), has been serving patients for over 25 years. Established in 1975 as a solo practice in the Gengras Medical Building attached to St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, GHOG has continually expanded providing new programs, services, and forming strategic alliances with other healthcare organizations and providers. These relationships have allowed us to better serve our patients with comprehensive medical and orthopedic care.

Design Objectives

Greater Hartford Orthopedic Group wanted an informational website to show their practice in the best possible light. Their original site was poorly designed, and part of a larger medical association's site. They not only wanted to be seen by search engines on their own, but also wanted to place standard office forms on their site so that their patients would have access to them prior to their visit to the office. A modern, up-to-date design is carried throughout all of the pages, including highlighting the specialties of each medical partner. The logo was designed by Abgraphic.
